She said she'd be pregnant by age 30, and she meant it!
After what seems like years of baby rumors, pop diva Beyoncé Knowles shocked audiences at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards when she walked the red, er-- black carpet wearing a gorgeous orange gown and cradling a very pregnant belly.
"I have a surprise!" Knowles, 29, teased.
And this time, her rep was finally able to confirm the news, telling People, "I'm happy to say it's true."
This will be the first child for Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z, 41.
Congratulations to the happy couple!

Thats fantastic news, love Beyonce and she has been talking about becoming a mummy in the media for a while now. She kept that bump well hidden, as she seems to have quite a nice little bump going on now :)
Congratulations to Beyonce and Jay-Z! beyonce is absolutely glowing in these pics. She´s kept her pregancy hidden very well. But could she have made her announcement in a better place than at VMAs? It was a perfect timing. Hopefully everything goes well and she and Jay-Z will have a healthy little baby. No matter if it´s a girl or a boy.
She looks amazing!! ...and Jay-Z has a son from a "previous" non-exsisting relationship w some Trinidadian model.. they don't acknowledge him tho *sad* ..but I can't wait to see how pregnancy will suit Beyonce, she is pretty as ever!

What a diva way to announce it.. did she expect everyone to break out in fits of joy, tears and laughter right in front of her? A simple statement would have been fine.

I don't really follow Beyonce and her music, but I did see a clip of her performing and rubbing her belly, then they showed her husband's face and he was just laughing and smiling and simply ecstatic. He was giddy even. It was really heartwarming because you just can't fake that!
Why am I so happy for someone I don't know! Seriously, I'm very, very happy for them. I'm sure she'll make a great mama.

@ Rebecca-i read in the paper today she's due in February. Happy & Healthy pregnancy to her!
Congrats to the happy couple. For Bey to have a visible large baby bump as she do, she probably will be due in late November or late December. She really looks to be about 5 months pregnant. Ususally first time preggor's don't show until around their 5 or 6th month. She's showing a nice size bump. Also whe she perform at the glastonbury she then look to be about 3 months with a small baby bump. She is now very round and big. Also with her keeping her hands on her stomach while performing again let's me know her baby is moving alot. Trust she's about 5 months at least. So happy for the loving couple Mr. & Mrs. Shawn Carter.3
