Sarah Jessica Parker & James Wilkie's School Daze

Is it Friday yet?

Mom-of-three Sarah Jessica Parker and her son James Wilkie, 8, strolled through the streets of New York City Tuesday morning (September 13) on their way to school.

The I Don't Know How She Does It star (and confessed minivan lover) recently talked about her son's desire to become an actor, and her reservations about him getting into the family business.

"I don't want him to do it until after he goes to college," says Parker. "But part of me thinks maybe it's better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don't know that he grasps what it took to get us here."

Why does this kid always look dirty, disheveled and sloppy? He always looks like he needs a haircut, bath and a new wardrobe.

because having money doesn't guarantee having good taste

The kid does not look dirty at all... Wtf is wrong with you?

Boys will be boys and SJP is letting him be a regular boy. Would she get brownie points for dressing him in an perfectly accessorized and colour-coordinated ensemble and bleaching and styling his hair??? Not in my book - treating your kids like fashion accessories is far worse than letting them walk around looking "sloppy".

Randy I totally agree with your comments. They let him be a kid not a fashion accessory. He looks clean and his clothes are clean and not wrinkled... he just looks like he has an extreme case of bed head.

Nobody said he has to be a fashion icon but this kid always looks like a mess.

I agree with Randy. He looks like a normal, happy, healthy little boy. Lay off.
