Selma Blair: “Arthur Is Perfection”

Selma Blair: "Arthur Is Perfection"

He may be just one month old, but Selma Blair‘s son Arthur Saint is already a seasoned traveler.

“He came to Venice for the Film Festival and to Toronto, and right here and he’s been a captain all the way. He’s been amazing,” Selma said while backstage at today’s J. Mendel show at New York Fashion Week (September 14).

The jet-setting mom is quick to gush about her baby boy, telling OK!, “He’s perfect. Arthur is perfection. He’s as good as a newborn can be…. He’s been smiling since two weeks. He already weighs 13 pounds. He’s very tall, [at] seven weeks. And he’s… the smiling is the biggest one.”

So sweet!

Though Selma has looked picture perfect while promoting her new film Dark Horse in recent weeks, she reveals she hasn’t lost a single pound since welcoming her son.

“I am not fabulous,” she laughs. “It is a mess of Jell-O all over my body. I’m relying on beautiful clothes to mask what is happening to my body. And no, I have not lost any baby weight yet. Any. I’m only six weeks after birth, [but] now I’m at the point where I can exercise, so I will.”

If she hasn’t lost any bay weight yet, then she didn’t gain much because she looks fantastic.

Selma, Selma, Selma, you need to relax. First of all, you look amazing – no sign that you just had a baby! I know Hollywood is calling, but take the pressure off yourself for a while. Even in Hollywood, some celebs are clearly in no rush to get their bodies back — look at Alanis — she still looks preggo and her kid will soon be a year old.
