Beyoncé Unveils Her New Fragrance & Reveals Her Pregnancy Aversions

Mom-to-be Beyoncé dazzled crowds at the unveiling of her third fragrance “Pulse,” Wednesday night (September 21) in New York. The superstar, who’s expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z, spoke to reporters at the event about her pregnancy, how it’s inspired her career, and the smells that have been driving her crazy for the past few months.

“My nose, I smell everything from a mile away,” says the Single Ladies singer. “Usually it is food, it is onions or something that I just can’t tolerate.”

Knowles, 30, says that her pregnancy has empowered her, and that for now, she has no plans of slowing down.

“I think it is just passion,” she explains. “When you are excited about something, you don’t have to think about your energy. It is natural and comes from adrenaline. It is important that I don’t look at this as like an illness. I am not sick. I am the same woman and I have the same passions.”

Does she have an aversion to pants too?

My sisters were always complaing about smells whenever they were pregnant. They would fuss at everyone for ANYTHING, b/c smells were so strong that it made them sick. Chips, cooking, coming from outside. LOL I wonder if Beyonce is a cranky pregnant lady? She looks great. Glad to see she is staying herself, fashion-wise, while she’s pregnant.

it’s easy to stay yourself fashion wise during pregnancy if you don’t have complications which Beyonce hasn’t as yet and hopefully doesn’t. aversions to certain scents/foods during pregnancy is normal. yes that is a dress it’s just a mini dress which when you have legs like she does obviously you want to show them off
