Proving that she’s not just a Material Girl, Madonna brought along kids Mercy, David and Rocco for a visit to a Kabbalah center in New York City on Saturday (September 24).
Though Kabbalah has been touched by scandal recently, Madonna has said that she experienced a spiritual awakening upon discovering the controversial religion, after which “all the puzzle pieces started falling into place.”
“I heard what he had to say and I knew at this moment my life would never be the same,” she said of her first class with a Kabbalah teacher.
“Life no longer seemed like a series of random events,” she continued. “I also began to see that being rich and famous wasn’t going to bring me lasting fulfillment and that it was not the end of the journey.”
