Congratulations are in order for Rachel Federoff and Destin Pfaff!
The stars of Bravo’s hit series Millionaire Matchmaker were wed the evening of September 24th with a rocker vintage theme at The Carlton Hotel in New York City. With their sweet 2-year-old son, Sin Halo, serving as Destin’s best man and ring bearer, the newlyweds open up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about their intimate affair with forty close friends including “best friend” and costar Patti Stanger. Destin also talks about “the best” season of Matchmaker, opens up about Sin’s obsessions, and discusses plans for baby No. 2.
With the couple’s dear friend Peter ‘Rocky’ Gheno officiating the ceremony, Destin and Rachel danced their first song as husband and wife to In Your Wildest Dreams by Reverend Horton Heat.
Looking stunning in a customized dress by Italian designer Atelier Amiee and unique head piece and appliqué by Lori London Couture, Rachel walked the aisle during the ceremony to La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong. The groom wore jewelry by Gasoline Glamour, Shrine and Dominating Bones, with shoes by TUK.
We both would go to the same places but didn’t see each other so we kept in touch online and after several years we finally united,” said Rachel. “We got engaged in 2008 right around the time when we found out I was expecting. Destin and I couldn’t be more thrilled on this special occasion.”
In an online interview with Destin prior to their big day, the reality TV star gives our readers a look at the set of SOYJOY’s Real Take On. “They’ve treated me great and it’s a wonderful product,” Destin says of SOYJOY. “I’m really excited to be a part of them.” To find out more, please go to the SOYJOY Facebook page.
And of course the proud papa couldn’t help but gush about his sweet boy.
Sin Halo just turned 2-years-old so he’s officially entered the terrible 2s stage,” Destin says. “Everything is, ‘Elmo, Elmo, Elmo.’ And everything is, ‘Ernie, Ernie, Ernie.’ He’s obsessed with Sesame Street, he’s obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba. He’s just non-stop – inquisitive, curious, and he has these long and intense conversations with you. Ninety percent of the time you don’t have any idea of what he’s talking about. You just nod and smile and when he’s done he’s really happy and like, ‘Yah, I got my point across,’ and he walks away.”
When asked if there are any plans for baby No. 2, Destin replies, “Oh god baby No. 2!” he jokes. “Baby No. 1 has put more gray hairs on my head than any other thing in my life. I would love baby No. 2 soon. Sooner than later, but still a little later.”
The no-nonsense reality TV star says that Millionaire Matchmaker has never been better. “It’s the best season we’ve done yet!” he says. “There’s a lot of yelling, there’s a lot of screaming, there’s a lot of kicking people out of the office.” He promises that there’s some “harsh but sincere” opinions and “a lot of what you’ve seen before with a lot of added twists.”
And what about that feud between ex-costar Chelsea Autumn and the godmother of Matchmaker, Patti Stanger?
Chelsea who?” he jokes. “Patti is one of my best friends in the world. I love her to death. I’ve know her for years and years and years. Her and I ‘get’ each other.” He adds that they share similar passions and adds, “She’s a really big personality. I’m a much bigger personality than people would come to expect. And although we buck horns a lot, at the end of the day it comes from a really good place. I completely trust her and she completely trusts me. You can’t ask for a better relationship than that.”
