Hugh Jackman looked his usual dashing self as he took daughter Ava, 6, to school in New York City on Wednesday morning (October 5).
The Real Steel actor recently talked about a new rule he’s determined to enforce in his home that helps him spend more time with his family, that also includes wife Deborra Lee Furness and son Oscar, 11.
Inspired by a friend, Hugh has declared his home a screen-free zone. “A buddy of mine has a rule that I installed: No screens during the week. No TV, or computer, or anything like that,” says the actor.
“Kids nowadays have very little time,” he continued. “They seem to be at school longer than ever. They have all sorts of after school activities. By the time you have eaten and showered and dressed, it is over. So there is not much time for it anyway.”
But Hugh admits he sometimes has trouble adhering to the rule himself.
“I love to play Wii Tennis,” he says. “So I’ll say to my son, ‘Hey, lets go play on the Wii.’ And he goes, ‘Dad, it’s a beautiful day! Let’s go outside!’ “View Slideshow »»
