Following in the daring footsteps of Demi Moore, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, expectant actress Nia Long bares her gorgeous baby bump on the latest cover of Ebony. In the accompanying interview, Nia opens up about having a baby in her 40's.
Society tells us ‘Get married before 30…’ I think if we just take our time as women, and do what comes natural to us and for us, we would make fewer mistakes," Nia says.
The 40-year-old Soul Food actress is expecting a boy with her beau, NBA Basketball player Ime Udoka. The baby boy will join Nia's 11-year-old son Massai, from her previous relationship with actor Massai Z. Dorsey.
The latest issue of Ebony will hit newsstands later this month, coinciding with Nia's due date.

Yes Nia, but there is a reason that women sometimes cannot get pregnant very easily in their late thirties and in to their forties - and that's because of nature. It's all very good and well to say that women do things because they come naturally but here I think you are a bit misinformed.
I think that's her point...it's a very individualized sense of what is natural, it was natural for her. It may not be a natural sense of being for other older women. Her point is to not listen to societal views and to do what is natural for the person.
