Will today be the day that Spencer Grammer and husband James Hesketh welcome their first child into the world? Not if you ask the mom-to-be!
While supporting dad Kelsey Grammer at the premiere of his new Starz series, Boss, the 27-year-old actress told Us that although October 8th is her official due date, she thinks “it’s going to be a week later.”
A lot of women don’t deliver on their delivery date,” Grammer explained. “A lot of people I know this year delivered early, so a 40 week [pregnancy] is never really 40 weeks!”
When her little bundle does arrive, Spencer will be ready; but as she tells the magazine, there are still quite a few things left on her to-do list that won’t get done until it’s absolutely necessary.
“We painted [the nursery] months ago so there are no toxins and stuff and we have toys and a co-sleeper,” said Grammer. “We kind of were like, ‘we’ll just do one phase at a time.’ He’ll need a crib in a few more months.”
As for her father’s plans to start a family with new wife, Kayte Walsh, Spencer simply responded, “He loves babies. Doesn’t everyone love babies? You know. All in good time.”
