'Free Agents' Star Kathryn Hahn On Romance, Kids & Which Of The Two She Prefers To Have On Set
| Oct 13, 2011 by SHAYLA PERRY |

Her character may be involved in a steamy (but mostly awkward) workplace romance with Hank Azaria on NBC's Free Agents, but funny lady Kathryn Hahn would rather have her kids with her on set than a love interest; and she speaks from experience.
"I did and it was an utter disaster," Hahn tells Breezy Mama. "It never goes right! Then you have to show up at work with them...awful!"
The actress does enjoy showing up at work with two of her loved ones, however -- her 2-year-old daughter May and son Leonard, who turns 5 this month.
Without them, Kathryn says that she'd "be a wreck" on set, revealing that she was reluctant to take on the NBC series with two little ones to raise. But as she says, "Beggars can't be choosers."
So far, Hahn is enjoying the shift in gears from movies to the small screen, but admits that it's still difficult balancing her day job with motherhood. "When I'm with them, I need to be with them," Kathryn says of her children. "It's important to be present...not thinking about the scene I'll be in."
As for her plans to expand her family with hubby Ethan Sandler, Hahn says:
We have one of each so it's like why ruin a good thing, but who knows. It happens so fast. I miss it already."

I've loved Kathryn since Crossing Jordan! Still bitter NBC cancelled Free Agents and kept Whitney.
I never knew her kids' names- how gorgeous! Leonard and May... swoon! Hmmm ruin a good thing? I think another baby would just make a good thing even better, but I'm sure she said that in jest.
