Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra Lee Furness got an early start to their day by walking daughter Ava, 6, to school in New York City on Wednesday (October 12).
The couple then took a stroll together and looked deep in conversation – it was Hugh’s birthday, so maybe the actor was dropping hints as to what he wanted for a gift. After all, what do you buy for Wolverine?
At a brunch that same morning, the Real Steel actor launched a new charity – his own coffee company called Laughing Man Coffee.
“We have a motto at Laughing Man, and that is ‘All be happy,'” Hugh told the crowd. “It actually emanates from an ancient Sanskrit prayer which wishes for everybody to be happy, to be free of disease and for none to suffer misery of any kind—and that is at the heart of our company.”
All proceeds from sales of the fair trade coffee, tea, chocolates and merchandise will go to charities, including the local Harlem Village Academies in New York City. “Every sip will be giving back,” Hugh promised.View Slideshow »»
