Leah Messer: MTV Is Trying To Make Me Look Like A Bad Mom

Is reality TV becoming too much for Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer?

According to In Touch, the single mom to twins Aliannah and Aleeah has two years left in her contract with MTV, but she wants out; with friends saying “the show controls her,” and “it’s making her life hell!”

A new season of the hit series is set to premiere this December, and sources say that Leah is concerned about producers portraying her as “slutty” when airing footage of her dating life following her messy divorce from ex Corey Simms.

“Leah thinks MTV is determined to make her look like a bad mom,” the friend tells In Touch.

More importantly, the source says that Messer is worried about the impact the show is having on her twins, and claims that producers make far too many demands of Leah and her daughters, and aren’t opposed to waking the tots up at all hours.

Should MTV let Leah Messer out of her contract, or should the young mom and her twins be obligated to stay on the show for another two years as planned?

I think that Leah is trying to get more attention and sympathy. What life would she have without mtv. Probably, she would be struggling financially like the rest of the population. There would be no photo shoots on sunny beaches, no vacations, expensive day trips or expensive makeovers. All of the teen moms have large wardrobes as do their children. Apparently Leah is moving to a new home. Stop moaning, get over yourselves.

Editors and producers can’t do anything with video that isn’t provided. I am a video editor, so I know this as a fact. And I seriously doubt she dislikes the money she is being paid. All of these “teen mom stars” bitch about media and MTV…yet none of them have jobs and get paid to just LIVE. Must be nice. If you don’t like it, get out of your contract and get real jobs like the rest of the world…I bet they would hate that too. Get over yourselves…you are getting paid……..so shut up!

I wouldn’t expect that it’s that easy to actually get out of a contract that you signed.

But if what she’s saying is true, that the producers aren’t againt waking the babies up at all hours, that could be a way out.

All things she should have considered BEFORE signing a contract like that. All she saw was $$$. Sad that the impact it would have on her children is an after thought.

I wish all the teen moms would get over themselves and their inflated opinions of themselves. They are getting paid large sums of money. They enjoy vacations, expensive trips, expensive makeovers. They and their accessory children have large wardrobes. I have never seen their children wear the same outfit twice. Leah has a new home. I think maybe she wants even more publicity, which this remark has got her. What life would she have, with her twins, without mtv. A normal life struggling for money in a trailor.

From what I understand, they don’t actually make any money doing the show…They do get a trust fund set up for their babies college or school or something like that…I mean, don’t you think if she were getting rich, she wouldn’t be getting excited over a $3000 TRAILER HOUSE??? However, they do get perks like trips and maybe clothes and hair/makeup…plus they get fame, which may lead to some opportunities down the road they wouldn’t otherwise have…

They should cancel her contract as well as the other teen moms and cancel the show altogether. They are glamorizing being a teen mom to young girls and that’s not cool.

um no actually they dont glamorize anything… crazy moms…sick kids..money problems…bad dads…staying up all night missing out on all the teen things…I think its a good show…it does show real things ..Im a single mom of 2..had my first at 18 than my second 13 months later and both have devolopmental disabilitys…So I have a hard time keeping a job bc the daycares cant handle them both with all the other kids..so i live with my mother…all the things leah went thru really hits home…I really wish there was a show like this before I got preg…maybe I would have tried harder to wait.. I love my kids and wouldent give them up for anything but I wish I could have waited and givin them a better life.. just sayin

Ha! MTV can’t invent the footage that didn’t exist…If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck…well…Besides, don’t go to the party with the Devil and then get pissed off when he asks you to dance…She should be grateful to MTV for what she has gotten from them…I mean, I know they don’t actually get a salary for doing this show, that it’s not money they can touch NOW, but her daughters will benefit from it later on…
