Update: Less than a year after the birth of daughter Madilyn Grace, R&B superstar Ne-Yo and Monyetta Shaw welcomed a son named Mason Evan. The proud papa took to Twitter to announce the happy news.

Congratulations are in order for Ne-Yo and fiancée Monyetta Shaw who welcomed their second child on Monday (October 10), Us reports. The baby’s gender and name have yet to be released.
Hopefully the R&B superstar was able to make it to the birth! The 31-year-old singer was in the UK performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert on Saturday (October 8). He kicked off the show with a rendition of Billie Jean and some moonwalking.
“Sal-u twit fam!!,” he tweeted on Monday. “MJ tribute concert was a great time!! Such an honor to even be part of it. Hope I did Billie Jean justice!”
The Closer singer (real name: Shaffer Chimere Smith) became a first-time dad in November 2010, when Shaw gave birth to daughter Madilyn Grace.

um CBB Ne Yo’s second child is a boy and he and Monyetta don’t have to fill out the birth certificate until right before they leave the hospital which won’t be for a couple of weeks the baby was a month or so premature like their daughter was
I don’t think the baby was premature, Ne-Yo did say he was having a boy but he also said the baby was due in october, so I don’t think it’s premature..
