Will and Jada Pinkett Smith aren’t the only celeb parents with musical offspring. Rapper Snoop Dogg‘s 11-year-old daughter, Cori (a.k.a Cori B.) is stepping into the entertainment world with the release of her first single Do My Thang.
In the video, Cori sings, dances, and even does a little acting with her dad and big brothers Corde, 16, and Cordell, 13, making cameos as well.
Last year, Snoop and wife Shanté Broadus opened up about the difficult years they faced when Cori was first diagnosed with lupus.
“No one could tell me what was wrong. They drew tons of blood and said she has old-person cells,” Shanté recalled. “They gave her all kinds of [medication]. But she went downhill.”
Months later, Cori’s symptoms improved.
She’s the toughest little thing I’ve ever met. She’s on the honor roll, playing volleyball and softball, living life. She has all this joy. In the beginning lupus was winning. But now Cori is,” said Snoop.
