Months after the startling suicide of her estranged husband, Russell, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Taylor Armstrong is opening up about her troubled marriage and the domestic violence that she says could have led to her own death.
“If cameras were not in my life, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t be sitting here today,” Armstrong tells KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, adding that if the Bravo reality show weren’t filming at the time, it’s possible that her 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, could have been involved in the violent events that took place.
I’m thankful to be here especially for my daughter,” says Armstrong. “Imagine if she had two less parents instead of one.”
Taylor, who’s spoken out against domestic violence for years, believes that she pursued a spot on Housewives “subconsciously,” to shed a spotlight on her personal problems, telling the network, “I was handed a very specific mission, by the grace of God, through a tragedy.”
