Denise Richards: Adopting Baby Eloise Was "Meant To Be"
| Oct 19, 2011 by MARSHA TAKEDA-MORRISON |

Denise Richards was already mom to daughters Sam, 7, Lola, 6, when she adopted baby Eloise, and the actress says that though the process was trying at times her newest little girl was meant to be a part of their family
"A lot of people ask me why I adopted another girl and not a boy. I honestly had no preference whether I had a son or daughter. I knew what was meant to be would be, and I was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter," the actress says.
"The process took two years and there were many times during that I felt discouraged. But I always had faith that the right baby would find us (my daughters and me). I've always felt that children choose their parents, and Eloise found me a different way."
The former Bond girl says that her older girls are a big help when it comes to caring for their little sister. "My daughters, Sami and Lola, feel so blessed to be big sisters to Eloise," Denise says. "They love giving her a bottle, picking out her outfit and making her smile. I couldn't imagine better big sisters for Eloise. I love my girls so much - three is a charm!"

She appears to be a very hands on, loving mother. Hard to believe years ago the bad mouthing that went on about her...good for her and take care of all your girls!
