Reese Witherspoon was spotted walking to her car after picking up daughter Ava, 12, at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, Calif. on Wednesday (October 19).
And this weekend the actress took a walk of a different kind – she joined 3,500 activists and survivors participating in the Avon Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
“There are more than 2 million breast cancer survivors in the United States, but we cannot forget that every three minutes there is a new diagnosis,” Reese said in a statement. “Opportunities to get involved in the fight against breast cancer surround us in October and I urge everyone to contribute in some way.”
The Water For Elephants star has been Honorary Chairperson for the Avon Foundation for Women since 2007, and this past weekend presented $9.1 million in grants on the foundation’s behalf.View Slideshow »»
