Dem Babies are beautiful!
They kept them under wraps for the first six months of their lives. But now Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are giving the world a look at their beautiful twin babies Moroccan and Monroe for the first time. The new parents have created a website called DemBabies.com to give fans a glimpse into the never-before-seen Carey-Cannon family album.
From pictures of the twins in duck outfits, to a shot of the family-of-four dressed up as The Incredibles, the six-month-old babies are a vision of loveliness in the intimate shots.
The Carey-Cannons wrote a special message on the website.
We deliberated for so long about how to reveal the first pictures of our babies to the world. We just didn’t want to do the typical thing and display them in a tabloid (not that there’s anything wrong with that). We decided to share this beautiful experience with you in a special intimate portrait of our family. Parenthood is absolutely the most life changing experience we could ever have imagined. The love we feel for these babies is above and beyond anything we’d ever dreamed of.”
Mariah and Nick shared the website after the twins made their TV debut with Barbara Walters on 20/20 last night.

@Andrea it’s how they refered to them while she was pregnant before they knew what the genders were. if you were trying to be a snark don’t and try putting yourself in her position the pregnancy damn near killed her and the twins so using humor is a deffence Mechinism. Roc n Roe are gorgeous and I’m so thankful that Mariah & Them are healthy and motherhood fits her perfectly
You seem a little too invested in defending Mariah. It’s kind of creepy. And whether or not Mariah had a difficult pregnancy is irrelevant, we still have a right to find her behavior over-the-top and ridiculous. Nick and Mariah have acted like ridiculous fame-whores from the very beginning of the pregnancy, and if some of us find that ridiculous then that’s our right.
And the lack of correction punctuation is making your comment really hard to read.

I so disagree with Anon and Grace! Its wonderful to be over the moon over the top about yourself and your kids! Mariah and Nick loving what they do, loving their kids, and doing whatever it takes to keep a successful career is ok in this life! If they did not they would not be famous, on this blog or get ask to be a 20/20 guess!

The twins are adorable but can someone explain the “dem babies” part? I watched their interview with Barbara Walters and boy, Mariah Carey sure is a special woman.

Wow…those babies are simply drop dead gorgeous…I really don’t care much for the parents, but the kids are super cute! And I’m actually pleasantly surprised that they decided to give the babies some privacy for the first few months…I hope, they don’t start showing them off on a daily basis now.

I agree – some of the most beautiful celebrity babies ever! Esp. Morrocan – gosh, he is so cute. It is sad they have silly names. nick cannon seems to be a really great guy with a good head of his shoulders. mariah is a diva.

The “dem babies” that so much of you are commenting on is in reference to the web site that Nick and Mariah created to share the pictures of their children called dembabies.com. People please read the post 1st so you will get all the correct info. But on another note, I’m not a fan of Mariah or Nick but love the babies they are tooo cute and adorable!!

On another note, I don’t like how Nick claimed that celebrities being looked up to is something that’s wrong in this country and teachers and other important jobs should be looked up to. I just find that interesting because if he really felt that way he wouldn’t be living the way he and Mariah do and wouldn’t create a website dedicated to “DemBabies” if they didn’t think they were highly looked up to already. If Nick really wanted to help teachers then there are so many other things he could be doing, like donating some of their millions to the schools that so desperately need it, not creating websites to advertise his babies so we average folk can look at it, which is the so called “problem” that is wrong with society. Contradicting.
Well, he’s right. It *is* a problem. It’s atrocious, the number of people who complain about teacher’s salaries, but have no problem supporting the ridiculous salaries of celebrities and athletes.
On the flip side of that, it’s not surprising that they’d take advantage of what the public is offering them. Why turn it down? That’s not going to fix the problem.
The thing is that you really have no idea what they do with their money, who they might be donating to, who they might be helping, so don’t be so judgmental in assuming that they don’t. Maybe they don’t, but maybe they do and they just don’t advertise it.
