Kristin Davis: “I’ve Been Thinking About Adoption For A Long Time”

Kristin Davis and her new daughter Gemma Rose are featured in the new issue of Hello!, sharing the magazine’s “Baby Joy” cover with Kimberly Stewart and her baby girl Delilah.
 
The 46-year-old Sex and the City star, who shared her adoption news earlier this month, admits that she had a few new mom nerves after bringing home her little one.
 
“When Gemma came to my house she was so tiny and precious,’ explains Kristin, who says she worried about holding Gemma at first. “It is an amazing thing to be responsible for a tiny baby and I just wanted her to have the best care and all the love possible.”
 
As she settles into her new role, Kristin says that being a mom is like a dream come true for her.
 
“I have been thinking about adoption for a long time. It had taken me a while to feel that I could take on parenthood by myself. It is a huge change in my life.”
