Miranda Lambert is hot. So hot in fact that she is seen gracing the cover of her new album Four The Record in front of a burning car. In a recent interview with USA Today, the country sensation explains the cover art: “People have been saying, ‘You’re on fire right now’. So I thought I’d light something on fire.”
When asked if she thinks her fiery personality might change with marriage and possible children with fellow country crooner Blake Shelton, Lambert says: “I don’t think getting married or becoming a mom would change that part of my personality — it just adds to my personality.”
While her timing for starting a family is uncertain, one thing is certain for sure – she’s at the top of her game and thrilled with it. The songstress is the CMA’s reigning female vocalist, and she’s up for that prize again at the 45th annual ceremony November 9. The talented beauty also has a nomination for Coal Miner’s Daughter with Loretta Lynn and Sheryl Crow.
Of her possible win she says, “I feel like I’m in a great spot. I’ve kind of achieved the goals that I’d set for right now. Now I’m at this point where I’m getting a whole other set of goals. I try not to get too ahead of myself. I try to be happy where I am.”
