How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris and his fiancé David Burtka were spotted enjoying a lunch date with their adorable 1-year-old fraternal twins Gideon and Harper in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Wednesday (November 9).
After a bite to eat at the Marmalade Café, the foursome gathered outside for some casual chit chat. During their conversation, Little Harper was quick to entertain herself with Neil's sunglasses while Gideon continued to smile and laugh in David's arms.
The cute couple not only share children and a home together but they will also be sharing time on the big screen in A Very Harold & Kumar 3-D Christmas.
“We don’t really act together, we just live together and we certainly exist together, like all the time, but acting… it was weird, because we just exist on a different level,” the Doogie Howser M.D. alum states. “I’m very proud of him and I think he came across very well in the movie."

This family warms my heart! It goes to show that gay couples can be wonderful loving parents! Boy/girl twins CAN be identical. Google it.
Identical twins are born when a sperm fertilizes an egg and that fertilized egg splits in two, creating two genetical *identical* humans.
Boy / Girl twins can NOT be indentical.

They can't be identical.
There's one different thing between their legs that makes that impossible.
You should have said that the "different thing between their legs" is proof that they are not identical as what causes this difference is a Y where the other has an X.
That said, they could be identical (from a genetic point of view, which is what "identical" refers to) if the girl was actually genetically male and suffered of a lack of testosterone which kept her male genitals from developing, but this is a highly unlikely scenario ;)
That is a genetic condition. So either both would have it, or neither would. There is no way boy/girl twins can be identical. Sorry, you just do not know what you are talking about.
It's impossible for them to be identical, they are two different genders.
