Brad Pitt tells Australia’s 60 Minutes that he plans to stop acting when he turns 50 in three years, opting to do more work behind the camera instead. But one thing the father-of-six isn’t so sure about is whether or not he and longtime love Angelina Jolie are done having children.
“You know, I don’t know that we’re finished,” says Pitt of the couple’s plans to either conceive or adopt more kids to join Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. “I don’t know yet. I don’t know.”
Despite all of the chaos that six children naturally bring, according to Brad, it’s the special moments that make the craziness totally worth it.
“Those late nights are so fun when one of them’s up or those mornings when they get up and make pancakes or something. That’s what it’s about,” he shares, explaining that while he loves where he is in life, he wouldn’t exactly describe it as happiness.
“I think happiness is overrated, truthfully. I do,” says Pitt. “I think sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not. There’s too much pressure to be happy. I don’t know. I don’t really give a s–t. I know I will be at times and I know I won’t be at times. Satisfied, at peace, those would be more goals for myself.”
