Maggie Gyllenhaal & Ramona: School Days

Maggie Gyllenhaal & Ramona: School Days

The same day she announced that she’s expecting baby #2, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal stepped out on the school run in New York City with her 5-year-old daughter Ramona (November 28).

Leaving her mom to tote her backpack, soon-to-be big sister Ramona led the way home, looking adorable in her striped shirt and patched tights. It’s been rumored that Maggie is 6 months along, with a friend saying that “her bump is so big.” Do you think she’s that far already?

Life & Style first reported that Maggie and her husband Peter Sarsgaard are expecting again, with a rep for the Crazy Heart actress confirming the happy news this afternoon.

I saw another site say she’s only about four months along. I’m tending to believe the second report and not the six months one.

She definitely looks pregnant… 6 months is possible, if you estimate (like some people do) that 1 month is four weeks, and then you round up the number of months. I know women who say they are “in the sixth month” once they hit 20 weeks by using this sort of crazy math. And Maggie could definitely be at 20 weeks in that picture. Though I wouldn’t say that her belly is “so big” :)

It’s hard to tell how “big” she is by the front shot, but she looks beautiful and this is a darling picture of Ramona!

She could be that far along, we don’t see her very often.

Eh. I’m 25 weeks along as of today, also with my second child, and we look about the same size from the front. So I can believe 6 months.
