A-list mama Angelina Jolie may have played a kick butt, gun wielding adventurist in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and a highly trained, skillfull assassin in Mr. and Mrs. Smith but to her six children, she is just plain old boring mom.
Fortunately for her, Angelina has moved up a bit on the coolness scale as a result of her work in both installments of the DreamWorks Animation Kung Fu Panda films.
“Fortunately, I’ve scored some points at home because of Kung Fu Panda,” jokes the 36-year-old in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “They love Tigress, who is my alternate personality. Otherwise, they think Brad and I are just so not cool.”
And because Kung Fu Panda 2 earned a whopping $663 million worldwide, Angelina will more than likely have the opportunity to reprise her voiceover role in a possible third installment of the animated feature.
It is doubtful that her children Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3 – whom she parents with partner Brad Pitt – would object.
“We are in discussions,” the Salt star reveals. “I love animation because you get to do things you don’t normally get to. For one, I could bring my kids and wear my pajamas, and hang out with [director Jennifer Yuh Nelson]. And my character is just so badass.”
And the hardest feat she performed during the filming?
“Eating pizza was the hardest stunt we did.” she says.
