Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale: Christmas Eve At The Zoo

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale took Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, to a zoo in Los Angeles, Calif. on Christmas Eve (December 24).

Kingston, looking handsome in his little black suit, played on a seal sculpture and posed for pictures for mom and dad. Zuma was more casually dressed in jeans and had his hair tied up. During the visit, the boys were also treated to snow cones to eat!

The children have been a big influence on Gwen’s Harajuku Mini collection.

She said, “My kids have a big opinion about it. I’m just excited. I think that moms’ are going to walk into Target and lose their minds – ‘Are you serious right now? And it’s $20? All right, I’m taking five. I feel really proud of it. It’s fun to be creative. It’s fun to bake the cookies and have everyone eat them. It’s a great feeling.”

Someone who craves attention and who uses their child to get it, that’s who. She parades those children around in these off-beat outfits… Let boys be boys — take a look at most of the other celeb kids on this site – sure their clothes are expensive, but they don’t look like ridiculous little show ponies.

She often says that the kids pick the clothes themselves which may seem plausible — do you want to wear this, this or this. But, they don’t make the purchasing decisions do they? She’s the one who decides to buy the often outlandish outfits in the first place.

Well, he could very well be given a say in what is bought for him to choose from. It’s really no surprise that they dress in the same funky style as their mother. Is that so wrong?

Look at Ali Landry, who always dresses her daughter in prim dresses and bows very similar to how she dresses. Or Rachel Zoe, who puts her boy in only designer duds because that’s what she likes. Or Helena Bonham Carter, who dresses her kids in the same hobo style that she dresses in. Or Pete Wentz, whose son is always in jeans and a t-shirt.

Here we go again Janna. You constantly complain about people criticizing celebrities yet you are always on the warpath with other commenters. If anyone says anything you don’t like, they are subjected to one of your tirades. This is a celebrity gossip site — we’re not here to discuss the Middle East, World Hunger, etc. Keep it light.

Are you for real? You think it’s okay for people to post hyper-critical comments, but it’s not okay for anyone (me?) to criticize THEM?

            Sure. Yeah. That makes sense.

            Is that so wrong?

No, it’s not necessarily “so wrong” it’s called expressing an opinion. I think you need to warm up to the idea that people have different opinions and as this is a celebrity site, not everyone is a fan of the same celebrity(ies) — you seem to like Gwen and Rachel Zoe and others may prefer the likes of Jen Garner, Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, etc., etc.

You’re right, it would be so much better if every parent acted the same exact way and dressed their kids exactly alike. No individuality in this world! No making your own mark! No wearing what you want to wear! Conform, people, conform!

At that age kids like to pick their own clothes, but I doubt he does his own shopping. If he has only has crazy outfits to choose from…
