Whether she’s out with her boys Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, or rocking the red carpet, designer Gwen Stefani always looks picture perfect.
The No Doubt singer, who calls her closet “a work of art,” says that she does try to pick kid-friendly clothes when she’s spending the day with her sons: “If we’re at the park, I try not to wear heels. The kids are so gigantic, it would be painful. I always bring back-up shoes.”
Gwen’s sons are already showing signs of inheriting mom’s love of fashion, but she tells In Style they don’t often want her advice when picking out their own outfits.
“I’m not strict. I like them to be creative and have fun. I’d love to be part of it, don’t get me wrong. Sometimes they’ll get dresses and it’s horrifying. But they often come out in awesome outfits.”
Yeah, I am sure they pick out skinny jeans, bleach their hair and paint their nails on their own too. She talks of not wearing heels to the park..why won’t she? She brings 2 nannies with her at every step out the door!

What in the world is she gonna do when her sons are teenagers, and will make ALL of the descisions on what they do and don’t wear? She’ll probably go nuts if they’d rather wear a simple pair of Levis, a plain shirt, and a non-attention getting shoes. I’m suprised she doesn’t have them wearing dresses and such, since she believes in gender neutrality for her children.

Yes they may choose to wear skinny jeans, the hair bleaching no especially not when she started bleaching his hair at two, now the nail painting yes they may want to have there nails painted.
