Milk actor Sean Penn was spotted extending a helping hand to his 20-year-old daughter Dylan as she moved out of her place in Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday (January 6). The couple were also seen heading over to her new place.
The devoted dad was also spotted taking a stroll with his 18-year-old son Hopper in Malibu Calif. the same day.
According to the New York Post, it seems old Spicoli was caught mincing words with Maria Conchita Alonso, his former co-star in the 1988 gang-war drama Colors. Apparently, the two actors had a heated discussion revolving around their diverse outlooks on foreign policy at LAX airport in Los Angeles, Calif. late last month.
Maria claims “her heart stopped” when she saw Sean in the lost baggage area of America Airlines. Maria, who is Cuba born and was raised in Venezuela, had written an open letter to Sean last year to say she was “appalled” by his public support of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.
The conversation, which was reportedly initiated by Maria, quickly turned sour and ended in name calling as on-lookers stared. Maria claimes Sean called her a “pig” and she called him “a communist [expletive].”
Sean claims that he didn’t recognize Maria at first.
“I only knew that a hostile woman was nonsensically berating me,” he comments. “I didn’t realize it was that actress. I think I worked with her once. But she looks really different. She was uninformed and impolite to all the other passengers.”
Maria responded to the incident by stating, “I do apologize for calling Sean Penn a [bleep]hole. He is an intelligent man . . . But if someone calls me a pig, I am not going to turn the other cheek. But I don’t regret calling him a communist.”View Slideshow »»
