Céline Dion: Family Fun At Beauty & The Beast

Céline Dion: Family Fun At Beauty & The Beast

Grammy Award-winning singer Céline Dion and her family – husband René Angélil, 1-year-old twin sons Eddy and Nelson, and 10-year-old son René-Charles – posed for pics at the U.K. premiere of Disney’s classic Beauty and the Beast in 3D on Sunday (January 8).

The Canadian singer discussed the impact the title song had on her career. “I think that this song gave me a name,” Dion said. “I had already released my first album in English (Unison). People knew my song Where Does My Heart Beat Now but didn’t know the singer. When I did Beauty and the Beast, people not only knew the song, but also knew who sang it. So I think that Beauty and the Beast put me on the map.”

The mom-of-three recently admitted she enjoys an “extraordinary life.” But the songstress said it’s important to keep her kids grounded.

“When you have nothing, it’s difficult to raise a child. When you have everything, it’s hard to raise a child,” she said. “But it’s not what you give them that’s important. It’s what you teach them – that is the line I remember when I make all decisions.”
