Amber Portwood has had a lot of time to think about her life since being sent to jail in December for violating her parole. Now, the Teen Mom 2 star is focused on one thing, and one thing only — her 3-year-old daughter Leah, and being the caring mother and positive role model that the tot needs in her life.
“I don’t think I’ll ever take this sh-t for granted,” Portwood, 21, writes in a letter to her brother, obtained by TMZ. “I’m really scared I’m going to prison. I don’t know what I’ll do. All I think about is Leah and how she needs a role model. If I can get out, I can really show her what a good mother is.”
I don’t want people thinking I’m this crazy b–ch,” Amber added. “I am a good person and I pray that I can change my life.”
Apologizing to her brother for her sloppy writing, explaining, “the pens they give us bend so we can’t stab anyone,” the young mom argues that she’s not an “endangerment to society.”
“This sh-t is getting out of hand,” Amber complained. “I wouldn’t hurt anyone!”
Portwood is scheduled to appear before a judge on January 27. The reality star faces up to two years in prison, if convicted.
Her ex, Gary Shirley, was recently awarded full custody of daughter, Leah, who remains in his care.
