Brad Pitt: The Kids Can Act... When They're 18

With multiple acting awards and honors between them, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are two of Hollywood’s hugest stars… might we one day see their kids follow in their very famous footsteps?

Dad Brad isn’t ruling it out. When asked if any of his children are interested in acting, he replied only, “Whatever they want to do. Whatever makes them happy.” He does have one stipulation, though: “Not until they’re 18.”

With awards season upon us, both Brad and Angie are being recognized for their work over the past year: He’s been nominated for both a Screen Actors Guild award and a Golden Globe for his work in Moneyball while her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey got a Golden Globe nod for best foreign film.

“I am extremely proud of him,” the mom-of-six gushes of her partner, who she says is a big supporter of her work as well. “I see him in the films he’s done, that are being acknowledged, I saw how hard he worked, and I know how much it means to him. So I am very happy and proud of him.”

The couple are parents to kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.

Surely he deserves nomination for Father of the Year for being willing to support, supervise and guide his children until the 18-year age of majority, then allow and expect them to behave as adults and live their lives in a personally fulfilling way from that point forward.

Brad Pitt should be nominated for the Best Dad of the Year if there was such an award. He knows what he´s talking about since both he and Angelina Jolie are actors. It´s a tough job for sure and he is guiding his children to live as normal a life as possible. He and Angelina will sure give some good advice if and when one or more of their children will be interested in acting. Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne have acting in their blood since both their parents and maternal grandfather are actors but maybe one of the adopted ones could be interested in acting too. If I don´t remember wrong Angelina has once said that Zahara is interested in acting and is quite a performer. But whatever the JP kids choose to do their parents sure will give them their blessing. Both Brad and Angie are known for their humanitarian work so maybe their kids will follow in their footsteps in humanitarian work.
