Sarah Jessica Parker & James: Winter Walkers

Sarah Jessica Parker and James Wilkie took their regular stroll to school on Tuesday morning (January 17). It wasn't too chilly out. The actress had her coat unbuttoned and James didn't wear a hat.

Along the way, the actress recognized someone she knew and stopped to give him a hug.

Having two working actors in the household has made it a challenge to raising James, 9, and 2 1/2-year-old twins Loretta and Tabitha.

Parker told Parade magazine, “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working and it was so hard on the kids. On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it.”

She added, “We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us. It’s such a good feeling to know that we’re competent and capable and that it’s private.”
