Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky Expecting Baby No. 1

It looks like 2012 is going to be a great year for Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, 28, and his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky, 35!

The couple - who wed back in December 2010 - recently announced to ¡Hola! that they are expecting their first child together.

"Born in the spring. Chris and I are delighted, very happy and excited," the Fast Five actress says.

"We do not know the sex of the baby, prefer to be a surprise," she continues. "We do not care boy or girl, our only desire is to be healthy."

The couple may not be finding out the gender of the baby but one thing is for sure, Elsa wants her little one to speak Spanish.

"I will only speak Spanish," she says. "I told my husband, 'Rock out with Spanish quickie because if not, you will not understand what we say."

Chris - who will be reprising his role as the Norse god Thor in The Avengers this year - has apparently been nothing short of a doting husband to Elsa during her pregnancy, making sure all of her cravings are satisfied. And speaking of cravings, the actress claims that since becoming pregnant, she has developed a sweet tooth.

"Everything healthy that I liked, now I do not like, suddenly, I just crave sweets all the world, burgers and chips. I've never eaten popcorn and pregnancy take them all the time. "
