It’s no secret that troubled Hole front woman Courtney Love and her 19-year-old daughter Frances Bean have endured a turbulent relationship stemming from Courtney’s addiction to drugs and struggles to maintain consistent custody of her daughter.
Radar Online is now reporting that a restraining order filed by Frances against Courtney in 2009 and her previously sealed deposition papers have been discovered and are revealing some grisly details about the mother-daughter’s lives together.
In a sworn statement to the court dated December 10, 2009, Frances lists the numerous prescription drugs her mother was reportedly taking, recalls a crazy night at her mother’s ex-boyfriend’s house and claims Courtney’s hoarding problems caused the death of both their family cat and dog.
“[Love] has taken drugs for as long as I can remember,” the 19-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain reveals. “She basically exists now on…Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes.”
“She rarely eats,” Frances adds. “She often falls asleep in her bed while she is smoking, and I am constantly worried that she will start a fire (which she has done at least three times) that will threaten our lives.”
The troubled teen went on to state that when she was 17 years old, Courtney took her to a man’s house and – while she sat waiting in a cab outside – her mother behaved like a crazy person.
“She took me in a taxi to his house in the middle of the night, and from outside the house, in her bare feet, she screamed at him, threw rocks at the house, and threatened to burn his house down,” Francis candidly recalls. “His children were inside the house, but that did not stop my mother.”
Francis – who also claimed that Courtney threatened to jump off a building while she watched on – goes on the say that her mother’s incessant hoarding and pill use killed their family pets, claiming their cat died when it got tangled in piles of trash, fabrics and boxes of paperwork and the dog passed after swallowing Courtney’s pills.
