It’s Kal-El Cage!
The adorable 6-year-old son of Nicolas Cage and wife Alice Kim was photographed alongside his parents at Miami International Airport on Wednesday (February 8).
Where did that come up with that unique name? Kal-el is the birth name given to comic book hero Superman, who Cage was once linked with playing on screen.
The actor recently took his son to see Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, on Broadway. Backstage, after the show, Cage’s son told actor Reeve Carney, who plays the part of Spider-Man in the New York City production, that he wanted to “fly” with him, but had unfortunately come ill-prepared.
The cute boy said:
I’m Kal-El. This is my dad. I was named after Superman. I’d fly with you, but I don’t have my cape.”
The 48-year-old actor – who is also dad to 21-year-old son Weston – is currently promoting his latest flick, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance.
