Bobbi Kristina Brown Hospitalized Twice Over The Weekend

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been distraught over the death of her mother. The 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has just been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being hospitalized the second time since finding out her mother died in the bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday afternoon.

In the early hours of Sunday morning the teen was transported to the hospital after reportedly having a nervous breakdown.

An insider tells Radar Online, “She tried to ease the pain of losing her mother by having a few alcoholic drinks. She was distraught, on the verge of a complete breakdown. Not knowing what to do, members of her mother’s entourage tried to calm her down with a sedative. The two were an unfortunate mix and she ended up passing out.”

Is Bobbi going through the same addiction problems?

TMZ reports an eerie situation where Bobbi was found asleep in the hotel bathtub the day before her mother died. Sources say her friends tried knocking on the bathroom door repeatedly on Friday night. They ended up calling security to unlock the door. The room was booked under Whitney’s name.

The family fears she might be suicidal and plan to get her help.

dimbrains 18 is legally an adult and that’s a perfectly normal reaction when you lose a parent leave Bobbi Kristina alone

Courtney- what is a normal reaction to a parents death? Drinking alcohol (underage) and mixing that with a sedative. Seems like the wrong route to go seeing as her mother died of the same thing the day before…. Entourage was wrong to give her medications. They should have called a doctor to see her. Sounds like entourage are not too smart and a bad influence to be passing out sedatives (esp. if they knew she had a couple of cocktails). I hope her grandmother and dad are there to help and support her soon.

It’s still news, especially when drinking (or whatever else she did) isn’t legal (she’s under 21 with respect to alcohol, and drugs are illegal for everyone), and especially given her mother’s problems.

My heart goes out to this poor kid and her entire family. Not only did we lose a legend, but she lost her mom.

Whitney’s entourage sounds awful. Why would you give sedatives to a grieving young woman? It’s normal to grieve and be distraught.
I hope Bobbi can stay/become a healthy independent woman and not go down the same path her mother did.

If Whitney Houston had half a brain, she would have hired someone to keep her clean, someone to be her shadow, someone to say “no” to her once in a while. It’s a shame she didn’t, and celebrity entourages seem to be there only to give the superstar what she wants. Now her daughter heading down that path, too?

      Sad.

Oh dear. I can’t possibly imagine how she’s feeling… I am around the same age as her and the thought of losing my mother is just terrifying. I hope she gets the help she needs.

And anon @ 12:26pm we still don’t know for sure that’s how Whitney passed. It seems likely given her problems but a number of things could have occured in the bathtub, she could have slipped and hit her head for all we know.

“She could have slipped and hit her head” – oh sweetie, if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Yes, she could have slipped and hit her head. But the probability is that she was stupid and combined medications that she shouldn’t have. I mean, how could she have known? It’s not like a freaking hundred celebs did the same damn thing in the past and dropped dead.
