It seems Hilary Duff‘s baby boy will have both parents around the house once he’s born.
Hilary’s hubby Mike Comrie - who most recently played for NHL team the Pittsburgh Penguins – has announced that he is retiring from his hockey career after undergoing hip surgery two weeks ago, his third surgical procedure in five years.
“To have made the lasting friendships I enjoy today with so many of my former teammates is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life,” the 31-year-old Canadian hockey player says. “It’s the reward that has made all the hard work, the trades, the moves and the surgeries worthwhile.”
Hilary – who is due to give birth the couple’s first child within the next month or so – took to Twitter yesterday to announce her husband’s momentous decision to give up his hockey career.

She continues to say,
