Kate Hudson Takes A Ride With Ryder

Kate Hudson and her son Ryder, 8, took advantage of the warm Southern California weather by taking a bike ride along the beach in Santa Monica, Calif. on Sunday (February 12). The actress' fiancé Matt Bellamy and their 7-month-old son Bingham didn't come along for the cruise.

With her flowing blonde hair and casual vibe the mom-of-two looked like the quintessential California girl. Which is one of the reasons she was recently chosen as the new face of clothing brand Ann Taylor and stars in their new spring collection ads.

The Bride Wars actress is following in the footsteps of Demi Moore, Katie Holmes, and Heidi Klum in representing the retailer in their campaign, described as "celebrating modern women of substance, style and success across every generation."

For Kate, the partnership seems like a perfect fit. "I am thrilled to collaborate with Ann Taylor this spring," she said. "I love fashion, and their new spring collection is so stylish and hip and colorful!"
