Another health scare for Nick Cannon. Citing “doctor’s orders,” the 31-year-old has quit his daily 92.3 NOW radio show Rollin’ with Nick Cannon, after being hospitalized this past weekend when doctors discovered two blood clots in his lungs. It’s been a rough few months – the dad-of-two (he and wife Mariah Carey welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe last April) suffered from kidney failure over the holidays
“Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule…even Superman needs to sleep,” Nick said in a statement.
Reports say that the actor/comedian will continue to host his weekly syndicated show, Cannon’s Countdown.
According to the Washington Post, Nick’s latest ordeal began last Friday when he went to the hospital for back pain and doctors discovered not just a blood clot but an enlarged ventricle in his heart.
