Bethenny Frankel Reveals Miscarriage

Sad news for Bethenny Frankel.

On Monday morning, the 41-year-old reality TV star reveled on the Today Show that she recently miscarried her second child at 8-weeks pregnant.

When asked about her hopes for baby No. 2, an emotional Bethenny opened up about her miscarriage.

I’m 41 it’s a very personal question,” she said. “We were pregnant with a second baby and at eight weeks I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience. I’m not thinking about it. I have an incredible daughter. I have truthfully thought about other women, more than myself. Oh my God, I can’t believe what people go through who can’t have the one.”

She added: “Until you become a woman, you don’t know the things that come with it. The window is closing, and it’s something I’m dealing with.”

Bethenny and husband Jason Hoppy are parents to nearly 2-year-old daughter Bryn. The third season of Bethenny Ever After starts tonight. In this season, she reveals that the second year of marriage has been difficult.

    That is so horribly sad. I have always liked seeing her and her baby because I remember I was just a few weeks away from my due date with my son, my husband and I were on our “babymoon”, and I watched the episode where she had her daughter and it totally made me cry. And Courtney, seriously who cares what the cause of the miscarriage was. They lost a baby and that is devastating no matter if it was going to be perfect or not. And I’m pretty sure that little “fact” isn’t even proven. Dr.’s have always said that the exact cause for most miscarriages is unknown.

    @anon I agree with you it is sad news but usually when it happens that early it’s due to a genetic malfunction that couldn’t be prevented
