Balthazar Getty & Cassius: Biking Buddies

Balthazar Getty and his 11-year-old son Cassius were seen with their bikes in Malibu, Calif. on Sunday (February 19).

The actor – who also has Grace, 9, Violet, 8 and June, 3, with wife Rosetta – walked along with a cigarette in his mouth.

The former Brothers and Sisters star once talked about getting back on track with his family after his highly publicized affair with Sienna Miller in 2008.

He told Harper’s Bazaar, “Here’s the bottom line: It was a very challenging time for everybody involved, but I loved and missed my family too much not to make it work. Rosetta is understanding enough and spiritual enough to let us try. In a way it–I don’t know …I feel like we’re better than we’ve ever been.”

Rosetta also explained in the interview why she forgave her husband.

She said, “I’m open to talking about it because I believe we go through things in a public way to help other people get through it. I’d love to talk about it more with people when I’m clearer about it. I’m going to have to explain this to my daughters one day. I chose not to act from ego because I just felt like it would be too crushing for my children.”

Ah, nothing more attractive than a man with a cigarette dangling from his mouth in the presence of his young children. I usually try not to be judgemental like this and I realize right now I’m doing a bad job at it, but having lost my father young from smoking, this is something that just sickens me. That being said I’m glad he and his wife worked past the affair and I hope they are in a better place now,and that they and their kids are happy!

That’s not a cigarette in his mouth. That’s an electronic cigarette, and the “smoker” exhales water vapor. Just FYI before everyone gets mad that he’s smoking around his son.

Real cigarette or not, why do the posts here always describe in words what can already be plainly seen in the photos? It’s so pointless. Hello, we can see the pictures. You don’t need to tell us that he has a cigarette in his mouth. Or as is usually the case, what the celebs are wearing. It’s not the same as, say, mentioning the brand of the clothes or whatever – that’s information that is useful and not obvious. But saying a celeb is wearing a black dress or a red sweater? Yes, we already knew that. Because we are not blind.
