Jessica Simpson Looks Forward To Seeing Her Old Figure

As one of the stars of the show, Jessica Simpson will of course be tuning in to next month’s premiere of NBC’s Fashion Star. The mom-to-be admits she’s looking forward to seeing her pre-pregnancy figure on the small screen.

“I wasn’t pregnant when we shot it. It will be amazing to see myself with a waistline,” Jessica, 31, admits. “I’ll be like a big blob sitting on the couch watching myself thin.”

Fashion Star isn’t the only project in the works for the busy star – she’s also keeping busy with her own collection, which will soon include a maternity line.

“The point of launching a maternity line, for me, is to do something different,” Jessica reveals. “I’m not buying any maternity clothes. I’m wearing all clothes that come in bigger sizes. I really want to make a maternity line that’s comfortable, but really stylish for people, because I believe that we all deserve to feel good and look good.”

Fashion Star premieres on NBC on March 13.

She will get it back. I looked just like her, 234 lbs the day I delivered and I am 145 lbs and my son is not even a year. I did not bf long and I did not do a crazy diet or workout all the time. Actually a lot of it was water I lost within the first month post partum. Good luck Jessica!

Right, because no one has ever overindulged while pregant (or not while pregnant) and then lost weight and got back into shape. Nope, can’t happen.

Yeah. Wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of those “know it all” comments and attacks come from people who have never been pregnant — same idea as all the parenting critics on the sites who end up being teenagers. Seriously.
