Kendra Wilkinson: "Why Get Pregnant Now And Make It Even Worse?"

Kendra Wilkinson says she and husband Hank Baskett want to give 2-year-old Hank Jr. a sibling but aren’t sure when it will happen.

The 26-year-old reality star tells In Touch, “We are trying to figure out our careers. We don’t know what is going on now. Why get pregnant and make it even worse, or more confusing?”

Kendra also feels her time in the spotlight is ending stating, “My 15 minutes of fame are up!”

Speaking at The Pool After Dark event at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City recently – she said that Hank’s career is going to soar.

He is going to become a big time host, he is so good at hosting. You gotta watch out for him!”

She also had some advice for the new cast of Dancing With The Stars.

She said, “Make the best of it! My biggest pet peeve when I was on there was when people said, ‘just have fun’ that is the worst advice you can give anybody on that damn show because everybody is like whatever because that’s all you hear. You’re completely numb to hearing that, ‘just have fun’ you’re like, ‘shut up’ so I guess my advice would to be to just make the best of it.”

I don’t think they will ever have a second baby. I’m not judging Kendra, I like her, that’s just the way I see this going. Kendra has said she didn’t like being pregnant and suffered emotionally afterwards with PPD, body and self-esteem issues and seems to enjoy being a mother to an older child more than a newborn. I bet she never goes back there again. I get the impression she, in particular, is happy with one child.

Just the fact that Kendra was, as she has put it, “miserable” in the early months following the baby’s birth, and that she has spoken about feeling so much happier now she has her body back, and can get out and about more. I read in an interview when Hank was a baby that she as looking forward to the days where she could run around in the park and play ball with him and “coach him”. Just my take on her comments. I could have entirely the wrong impression, of course.
