Crazy Heart star Maggie Gyllenhaal was spotted strolling solo around her Brooklyn, New York neighborhood this morning (March 13).
The 34-year-old actress – who is mother to 5-year-old Ramona and expecting her second child with husband Peter Sarsgaard – paused for a moment to drop a pair of sandals into a box on the side of the street while her hubby arrived home shirtless after taking advantage of the warmer weather and going out for a run.
It looks as though Maggie’s new film Won’t Back Down is set to release in September.
In the movie – which is described as being based upon the actual events surrounding the controversies around so-called parent trigger laws present in California and a handful of other states that allow parents to dump bad teachers and overrule administrators in bottom-ranked schools – Maggie portrays a single mother who sells cars, tends bar and motivates parents to take charge of their grade school.
The film co-stars Viola Davis, who was nominated for an Oscar nominee for her performance in The Help.
