Model and actress Molly Sims had her heart set on starting a family after she and her husband Scott Stuber tied the knot last September, so says she was worried when she learned that it often takes more than a year for women over the age of 35 to conceive.
“That number was a little scary to say the least,” Molly writes on her web site mollysims.com. “But I decided to be proactive and make this baby happen ASAP!”
So what did Molly do to improve the odds? Well, she says that along with following her own doctor’s advice, she: Took a baby aspirin daily with a glass of whole milk, lay with her legs in the air after trying to conceive (“Let gravity work its magic,” she notes), received acupuncture treatments and drank a “fertility smoothie” every day.
Whether or not these tips played a part, in the end Molly didn’t have to wait long for her positive pregnancy test: She revealed earlier this year that the baby on the way is a “honeymoon baby” and is expected to arrive in June!
