FOX Business Network anchor and working mom Melissa Francis made her morning show guest-hosting debut today, filling in for regular Gretchen Carlson on FOX’s daily FOX & Friends. Melissa recently came from CNBC to FOX Business, and spoke with the Detroit News about balancing life as a working mom of two with life as a busy news anchor.
“No matter where you are, you feel guilty about the other place,” she said. “And you always have that guilt but it’s only a small part of it. I have two sons — 5 and 1 — and when I’m at home with them, I’m totally with them. I cherish the moments we all spend together more.”
She added: “Best of all, I have a supportive husband who is also a fantastic and invested dad. I couldn’t do what I do without him. He’s my support system. I also go to my FBN co-worker Lori Rothman. She’s a working mom and she gets it. And I’m showing our boys mommy is doing something she loves and something they can be proud of.”
Melissa will guest-host tomorrow as well and then will prepare for her own show on the Fox Business Network.

Let’s not forget she played Jason Bateman’s sister in Little House on the Prairie!
