Katie Holmes & Suri: Big Apple Babes

Katie Holmes & Suri: Big Apple Babes

After a big day of New York City fun on Sunday (March 25), a tired Suri Cruise, 5, was spotted being carried home by her doting mama Katie Holmes, 33.

The pretty pair were spotted earlier that day enjoying the arts and craft activities at the Make Meaning store on the Upper West Side of the city. Sweet Suri looked lovely donning a pink floral dress, lilac colored jacket and metallic ballet pumps as she sipped on her grape juice box. The pretty little girl also wore a pink hair ribbon. Katie looked casually chic for today’s tour around the Big Apple dressed in a pretty black ruffled shirt and blue high waisted jeans. Black shoes could be seen poking out from underneath the flared cuff.

The darling duo – who were joined by grandma – were also spotted on Friday (March 23) visiting Chelsea Piers, shopping at Time Warner Center as well as having some fun at Build A Bear.

If she was carrying her in pictures because of the paparazzi then you would think she whould face her away from the paparizze NOT towards them so they can get a good picture.

If you haven actually experienced what they are going through you have no idea what should or shouldn’t do. You have no idea what the experience is actually like.

        What are you talking about?

If your kid if afraid of thing you face them away from it to shield them not forward towards it. For example if someone coming after you and your kids you would place them behind you as to protect them not in front of you in harms way.

And I’ll just say again, you have no idea what the situation is like. She might be squirmy, she might be agitated. A child is not an inanimate object that can just be forced to face a certain way, particularly since she’s not a tiny baby. Just because it’s possible to carry her doesn’t mean it’s easy to orient her a certain way. It’s very easy to to judge someone else and say, this is how it should be done, when you are sitting on your couch and you have no idea what the real situation is really like. Worry about yourself and stop judging other people.

You act like this is the first time Katie has carried her, you can forced to face a certain way if the way your being held leaves no other option.

You don’t like what I posted fine but Maybe you should take your own advise i mean you can’t tell others not to judge when your sitting on your couch doing the something It’s hypocritical.

These clowns tend to swarm people – i.e. they surround them, they don’t just stand in front of them. Duh.

Quit posting your stuff two and three times. The posts on this site don’t appear right away. You have to wait a little while for it to show up. thanks.
And yes, they do stand in front, but they are also completely surrounded by paps with cameras and videos.

OMG Tom and Katie are so fucking nuts when it comes to Suri for many reasons like these.

    (1) They are constantly carrying her every where in their arms and she is almost 6 yrs old.

    (2) The pick God Awful clothing for her and never make her hair look neat

    (3) Also they still give her a damn bottle

I’m sorry but I’ve keep things like this bottled up but it’s now gotten to the point where this had to be said.

After this picture, can anyone really say she’s not a brat? Yes, there are strange men taking her picture. Yes, she’s probably tired. But she’s also almost 6 and being carried by her mom, crying?

Yes, I will say she’s not a brat. You have no idea what this kid has to go through. So what if she carries her child. No one is asking you to carry her.

Yes, you can tell she’s a real brat because she cries when she gets stalked by a bunch of aggressive men flashing cameras in her face.

I think they are carrying her in pictures because of the paparazzi. I saw video of the paparazzi before and I would carry my child if they were taking pictures of us. Especially if my child was tired, cranky, hungry, etc.

Right on, JennyG. The problem with some of the preceding posts is that these imbeciles are probably not parents themselves so they can’t relate to a parent wanting to protect their child (for some strange reason there seems to be a lot of teenagers on this site lately)…. Or maybe they are simply too thick to realize what is happening in the photos — strange, loud, creepy men swarming a young child.

I too would be carrying my child with those hounds surrounding me everywhere I go. But this doesn’t explain why they carry inside stores while shopping, when no paps are present. (the paps are not allowed inside the stores so they take pictures through the windows). Or in other situations where there is an obvious barrier between them and the paps. I found tons of posts of her being carried (at least 10 times) inside stores in last 12 months, on this site alone.

wow – what a bunch of spiteful, bitter, judgemental people! Seriously – you’ve kept it “bottled up”? Seriously? That is truly sad! She is just a little girl and you have absolutely NO IDEA how this child is brought up. Go look in your photo albums – I’m sure there will be a few pics of your kids crying. God Forbid it should be Suri! And this website loves to play into peoples feelings about certain celebrities that they know aren’t popular by showing this kind of picture – and you guys are buying right into it!

I don’t think Suri is crying in the pic; I don’t see tears. She just looks annoyed. What is it about this family that riles people up so much? All I see is an adorable child enjoying a fun day out with her mom. She probably got tired at the end of the day, and her mom carried her from the car to their front door. Why is this a problem?

Remember, Tom & Katie choose to live a in a place that’s swarming with paparazzi.

Yes, you’re right. It’s their fault for expecting that they should be able to live peacefully and have their child walked down the street unaccosted.

The only reason katie is still relevant is because of suri. They pimp her out to the papparazzi for this purpose. This child looks so uncomfortable and unhappy in these pictures.any mother that wants to protect her child would not even put her in this situation to begin with.lots of celebrities come & go undetected or choose to raise their child away from the spotlight. They are choosing this for the press they get.I feel sorry for this little girl & think her parents are selfish & have no class!

Did you copy and paste your comment from one of the Jennifer Garner posts? Both of these women are examples of celebs who TRY to go about their business in spite of the paparazzi (or should I say, “ped-arazzi”?).

The d-listers that you see on this site who constantly “tweet” about their whereabouts, bowel movements, etc. are examples of true attention seekers and they are the ones who often “pimp” out their kids – not Katie Holmes. You know, the ones who show up at every product launch, or promotional event or gifting suite. Places you don’t see the likes of Garner or Holmes.

I think Suri lost a tooth. It looks like it in the first pic and possibly the third pic. In some of the other pics, she puts her hand over her mouth when she starts to crack a smile. She does the same thing on an outting the next day (diff site). So cute. I know everyone has an (negative) opinion about them – me included, but that’s just cute! (Sorry if this posts twice.)

I’m not gonna say it’s wrong of Katie or Tom to carry her because the paps can be really scary… but why is she carrying her like she’s a 5 months old baby and not the almost 6 year old girl that she is? That’s strange…
