Jessica Simpson’s $2 Million Delivery?

Jessica Simpson's $2 Million Delivery?

Move over Beyoncé, there’s a new diva in town!

Jessica Simpson is the latest pregnant celebrity who wants to pamper herself on delivery day. But reportedly, the 31-year-old’s bank-busting birthing plans have even her closest friends shaking their heads. For the birth of her first child, Jess is planning to spend almost $2 million, In Touch reports.

In addition, The Fashion Star mentor also hopes to sell the first shots of Maxi for as high as $4 million.

Like Beyoncé before her, Jessica has rented out an entire wing of the hospital – for approximately $500,000 – so that she can give birth in private.

“She’s turning the maternity ward into Fort Knox,” a pal reveals. “If her friends and family want to visit her, they’ll have to make it through numerous checkpoints!”

And reportedly she’s not going to rely on hospital security to keep her baby girl safe. The singer/actress/entrepreneur plans to hire 30 armed guards to protect Maxi 24/7, a cost estimated to be around $1,318,500.

“She’s terrified of kidnapping,” the source continues. “Her head of security just held a pre-birth meeting for her family to brief them on the rules!”

So doubt this is true consider the source is intouch weekly a notorious tabloid. so what other stars before Beyonce rented multiple rooms when they had their babies particularly if the child/children ended up in the nicu because they were born prematurely and nobody every said anything about it. so what mom to be wouldn’t want the safest birth possible for their children why don’t the tabs leave Jessica alone

well who knows what kind of stalkers she has, with all her money and fame you know there has to be a few nutjobs sending her creepy and scary fan mail…why not just have the baby at home?

I have a hard time believing that she’s hired 30 security guards. Consider the source. I’m sure this story is fabricated. Every celebrity that I’ve heard of secures the wing of the hospital. Yes it sounds extreme, but it’s something that every celebrity does. Not just JS.

This has got to be a joke. Fort Knox?? This is beyond ridiculous – Obama and royalty wouldn’t even go that far.

At least she isn’t having a planned c-section and will give birth vaginally…most celebs opt for a scheduled c-section with no medical need!

most celebrities have natural births actually, or at least they plan on natural and end up with a c section for medical reasons, like most women. Just because a couple of celebs had planned c sections for no medical reason, doesn’t mean that’s what all celebs do.

This does seem like something she would do, but the source isn’t that credible. If it is true, then wow, she needs a reality check. She’s a washed up pop singer/reality starlet. She needs to realize this is not 2003…

Oh please what a rediculous story. Sure she will have some security there isn’t a celebrity outthere that wouldn’t but this flippin story is just plain bizarre. There trying to make a story. rediculous totally.. I can see private suite for family sure thast what celebs do or people with wealth & I can see maybe two security & ones she trusts like anyother celebrity or wealthy person but bizarre story absolutley.
People need to leave thsi woman alone & let her deliever her baby.

she should do a home birth – that’s really the only way she can be 100% certain her baby will be safe, and for that much money, you could bring the hospital to you if you really want all the machines and equipment around.

She scheduled her delivery date a couple of months ago – that doesn’t sound like a natural child birth to me. Pretty sure she’ll be having a C-Section

she also has worried about pain, etc. i think she will have a c-section too. of course she is a whiner anyway on all subjects so who knows what she will do.
i think she makes these outrageous comments and statements just to get the attention, otherwise everyone will have forgotten about her by now.
i do wish her well and hope she has a healthy baby.

I think its disgusting you people talk about csections like they’re easy or something to be ashamed of! They are incredibly painful and having one does not make a woman less of a mother.

I can’t figure that out either. I had my daughter naturally and was up and about 2 hours later. My sister had my nephew by c-section and was miserable for weeks.

I can’t figure out why anyone who CHOOSE a c-section as if it’s the easier option.

Anyone who has a c-section with the ONLY reason being “I want to pick the date/time/day” should be ashamed. C-sections are menat for medical emergencies or other reasons why a woman can’t deliver vaginally. 99% of women have the ability to push a baby out. A baby should be born when it’s ready, not when mama/doctor thinks is will be more convienent. If you have a c-section due to medical need then you are absolutly right, it does not make you less of a women in any way. In that case you did what was best for your child, that makes you a good mama!

Even though I am sure the source is dubious, this is so ludicrous. Does she think she’s so important that she needs 20 something bodyguards around her for the birth. Sad that we live in such a celebrity obsessed society where the celebrities themselves think they are so important!

No, it’s sad we live in a world where it might actually be necessary to have that type of security around a celebrity’s baby. I don’t think it’s a matter of being full of themselves (some of the time), but a real concern about the security of their family.
