Now that’s one happy Easter baby!
Actress Jessica Alba recently shared this adorable picture of her youngest daughter Haven on her Twitter account with the caption “Easter Bunny.”
According to the Washington Post, Jessica will be joining fellow celebrities such as Viola Davis, Caroline Kennedy, Liev Schreiber and Katie Holmes and adding her voice to National Poetry Month in an effort to help lure children into the art form.
Joining poetry and imagery is “just a really great way to introduce kids to poetry,” including those too young to read, Jessica comments.
It’s also reflects the “genius of ‘edu-tainment,’ a new word I’ve been introduced to since I’ve become a mother,” she continues, claiming that her definition of the word means “tricking your kids into learning.”
“I have a lot of teen angst on paper,” Jess reveals. “Now I just kind of make up songs for my girls. I have little poems that I sing to them before they go to sleep, to the tune of ‘Twinkle Twinkle (Little Star).’
Be sure to check out Jessica’s reading of the Mexican folk song De Colores airing at 11:55 a.m. EDT Monday and at 6:55 a.m. EDT on April 29th on the Disney Channel. The segment will also play at various times on Disney Junior channel.
