Richards – who also raises Sam, 8, and Lola, 6, – has shared her thoughts on adopting Eloise.

A lot of people ask me why I adopted another girl and not a boy. I honestly had no preference whether I had a son or daughter. I knew what was meant to be would be, and I was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter . The process took two years and there were many times during that I felt discouraged. But I always had faith that the right baby would find us (my daughters and me). I’ve always felt that children choose their parents, and Eloise found me a different way.”

Last year she also gushed to US Weekly, “She’s brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces. Eloise is a cuddle bug. She loves being hugged and held. She’s such a beautiful little baby and little soul.”

I think it’s so great that Denise adopted a special needs baby!

Why do you think that this beautiful baby is special needs? It has never been reported that Eloise is disabled so I have to assume that you have posted this as an offensive comment regarding the babies appearance in the above photograph. If this is the case then you need your eyes or ego tested because she looks like a perfectly healthy 9 month old baby girl to me.

It’s not based on this photo as you obviously cannot even see her face. It’s based on numerous other photos of the child.

And you can definitely diagnose “special needs” from still pictures, having never examined or otherwise interacted with the child in person, especially when you are not a doctor or any other sort of qualified professional.

With three special needs children in my close family, one being my grandson, I don’t believe from all the pictures I’ve seen of this baby that she is one. It seems to be quite popular especially on this site for people to yell that about many children that have dark hair and not particularly “round” eyes. Examples, all once upon a time Suri Cruise, Violent Garner and Gia Lopez. So far those armchair physicians have been wrong. I believe that is the wrong call here too.
