Sara Gilbert & Sawyer: Shopping Smiles

Sara Gilbert & Sawyer: Shopping Smiles

The Talk co-host and creator Sara Gilbert was having a leisurely day out shopping with her four year old daughter, Sawyer. The pair were strolling the aisles at Target in West Hollywood, Calif. on Friday (April 27).

Levi, Gilbert’s 7-year old son with TV producer Allison Adler, was not spotted out with the girls.

The former Roseanne actress has been somewhat private about her new relationship with the 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry. She discussed her relationship with her co-hosts on The Talk back in November after being spotted together the Thanksgiving weekend.

Surprised, the 37-year old shared, “I can’t believe anyone cares. All these articles are out that I’m in a new relationship…I go online and it’s on CNN…It’s weird.”

Now six months into their relationship, the couple was photographed walking the red carpet together at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (April 21).

“I do want to share [my news] with you…But I want to do it on my terms, in full hair and makeup,” the brunette – who had a 10-year courtship with Adler from 2001 to 2011 – joked.

It’s amazing how the little girls in Hollywood look like boys and the little boys look like girls.

I’m so tired of people complaining and moaning about celebrities, open your eyes it gose on outside of Hollywood also, we just don’t see picture of it or repots. Hell you never know that little boy your looking at in the store could be a girl with sort hair.

But I guess the reason why people B* tch about celebrities so much is to make themselves feel better about their live because it’s so easy to say its only going on in Hollywood then to look around you and realize its happening every where.

THIS. Wearing pink for a girl or blue for a boy (and so on) is only society’s creation of what people should dress like. I highly doubt people in the stone age put bows in their daughters’ hair just so people could tell it’s a girl.

I think you were a little harsh on the person who posted “It’s amazing how the little girls in Hollywood look like boys and the little boys look like girls.” To me that sounded like a light-hearted observation, not a complaint.

The problem with written things is that you don’t know the tone it was “said” in, but you shouldn’t just assume it was said as a bitchy comment. x

Indeed, it is amazing how people are comfortable enough to reject society’s outdated cultural stereotypes and just let their kids be themselves! That’s what you meant, right?

Sara is like a hippie so her childs clothing selection doesn’t surprise me. She certainly is a spitting image of Sara.

She seems like every other little girl with older sibling that is a boy. Hand me down are not only for the regular folks. Lots of wealthy and famous people do as well. That being said this child is adorable.

She’s wearing a peace t-shirt, khakis with stars going down the side and rubber boats. What exactly is she wearing that makes you think hand-me-down from a boy sibling?

Plus, unless I’m crazy, she’s walking around carrying a package of pink and purple-patterned underweart. Does that satisfy the ‘Ack, she looks like a boy’ crowd?

Seriously??? I dont think she looks like a boy I just gave explanation for what others have said. Her clothes from shirt, to sweat pants to dino rainboots could be for either boy or girl and they may be hand-me-downs. and FYI, I am not one of the ACK she looks like a boy crowd.
